The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered a draft law amending article 154 of the Tax Code of Ukraine (regarding tax-exempt profits of the enterprises of war veterans). The bill № 8432 of 22.04.2011 referred to the Committee of People's Deputies of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc-B headed by the deputy chairman of parliament Mykola Tomenko. The draft is designed to harmonize the rules of the Tax Code, the Law of Ukraine "On the status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection" with respect to tax exemption on profits of enterprises of war veterans, for not less than 60% of the average number of employees are combatants and war veterans. MPs offer to supplement Article 154 of Title III of the Tax Code, paragraph 154.9. read: "154.9. exempt from taxation on business profits of war veterans, for not less than 60% of the average number of employees are involved in the fighting, and participants war ".
