Buckwheat imports may be exempt from tax

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered a bill on amending the section XX "Transitional Provisions" of the Tax Code of Ukraine concerning the characteristics of charging VAT on the supply and imports. Bill № 8116 from 16.02.2011 referred to the Committee of MPs from the Party of Regions, Vladislav Lukyanov, Vitali board and Ivan Sidelnikov (fraction "Reforms for the Future"). The proposed amount of cereals will be sufficient to ensure domestic demand and stabilize prices. As a result, the problem will be solved deficit buckwheat in retailing which has developed in recent years, and stabilize prices for buckwheat, as in processing plants and at retail outlets. Recall, in order to stabilize the Agrarian Fund, with support from the Ukrainian Embassy in China, held talks on the supply to Ukraine buckwheat in volumes of 20 thousand tons. Similar work is also carried out with other countries, in particular with the Netherlands and Poland.
