In the ranking of democracy among the countries of the world, published in the journal "The Economist", Ukraine has recorded the biggest setback among the European countries. This was stated by the first deputy chairman of the party "Fatherland," Alexander Turchinov on Channel 5. "This is not an assessment of the opposition and international experts: India has recorded the biggest setback to democracy among the countries of Europe" - he said. According to Alexander Turchinov, Ukraine took the "honorary" 7 th place among the world countries, which recorded the largest decline of democracy, after Madagascar, Ethiopia, Egypt, Fiji, Gambia. In addition, A. Turchinov noted that the experts consider it more effective, even governments of countries included in the lowest category of "hybrid regimes", particularly in Honduras, Cambodia, Malawi and Zambia. "It's a pity that during the year Ukraine made clear in that this spot, which today is - it will be very difficult to wash off, and as a consequence, reduced investment, capital flight, and in general the beginning of emigration of our citizens," - he concluded. As reported in the ranking of democracy of the world's 2010 Democracy Index 2010 Ukraine ranked 67 places, that is down by 14 points, compared with 2008 (53 seat). Ministry of Industry
