The volume of required reserves, banks formed in December 2010, amounted to 12 billion USD - the NBU

The volume of required reserves, formed by banks in December amounted to 12.4 billion UAH. Of them as of January 1, 2011 in a separate account at National Bank of Ukraine transferred to 7.7 billion USD. This is stated in the review of National Bank on the monetary market of Ukraine. Despite the decline in banks' correspondent accounts, their level (daily average value in December was 18.4 billion UAH.) Was sufficient to ensure the timely implementation of banks current account and credit support for economic development processes. The volume of refinancing operations in December 2010 was 409.4 million UAH (in general for 2010 - 5,2 billion UAH).
