Eastern European migrants have brought Britain's $ 8 billion

Labor immigration from Eastern Europe in 2004-2009 increased the GDP of the United Kingdom at 4.91 billion pounds (about eight billion dollars). According to a just released report, experts from the National Institute of Economic and Social Research, the GDP growth for this period amounted to 7,7%, or 98 billion pounds, of which about five per cent were created by visiting professionals from the "new Europe". German economy stagnated all this time, remind the authors of the report. After EU enlargement in 2004, only three countries of "old Europe" - Britain, Ireland and Sweden - opened the door to East Europeans immediately and unconditionally. Others have introduced all sorts of time constraints, (May 1, they were taken). From 2004 to work in Britain arrived about a half million East Europeans. 700,000 of them, including about half a million Poles who left for permanent residence. Part of Poles going abroad to work, can now shift to Germany, but in favor of Britain said that it has formed a large Polish community, thinks of the Institute of Don Holland.
