Russian market pipes in 2011 will increase by 7-10%. This opinion was expressed by Director General of TMK Alexander Shiryaev, reports Metallservice. In connection with this TMK will significantly increase production of pipes. Last year the company sold about 4 million tons of steel pipes. Recall that Russia in 2010 compared to 2009 reduced the export of steel pipes by 31,3% to 802.6 thousand tons. Foreign supplies of Russian pipe fell to the lowest rate over the past few years. So, in 2006, export of steel pipes valued at 1.33 million tons in 2007 - a 1.18 million tonnes in 2008 and 2009 - 1.16 million tons. Earlier the director of the Development Fund for the pipe industry Deineko Alexander said that the Russian pipe industry over the past 10 years has made a technological breakthrough.
