According to him, the final revision of the Customs Code provides rules on the maximum simplification of customs procedures and reducing the influence of "human factor" in the processes and results of customs clearance of goods. Talking about the problem of corruption, V. Homutynnik noted that only punitive methods it is impossible to solve. "Employees of tax and customs authorities is required to increase wages, including by reducing the number of unnecessary services in these agencies by giving the funds to increase salaries. We must also change the ideology of the current system of fee collection: there should be no internal competition between the tax and customs services with monthly challenge - who make more money for the budget ", - concluded the head of the committee. Recall that the deputies of the Party of Regions and the Communist Party proposed amending the Customs Code in order to significantly enhance the State Customs office.
