Bars and cafes may lose part of clients

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered a draft law on amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine concerning the prohibition of finding anyone under the age of 16, in an institution in which the drinking of alcoholic beverages at night. Bill № 8138 from 21.02.2011 before the Committee deputies from the Communist Party, Vladimir Danilenko. The main provisions of the bill set a special legislative protection of minors from the possible danger to their lives, physical, spiritual and moral development. In particular, it is proposed to establish that the institution in which the drinking of beer, spirits, soft drinks from 22.00 to 8.00, a person under the age of 16 may be exclusively in the presence of parents. Official establishment must obtain a passport or other proof of age of such person. Also provides for administrative liability of officials or persons responsible for the work of institutions in which the drinking of beer, spirits, soft drinks (a fine of from twenty to fifty times the untaxed minimum incomes of citizens.).
