State Committee agreed Ukravtodor bill, which toughens the requirements for the installation of advertising media on the roadside and control compliance with them. "We did not curb, and the solid boards. Advertising boards - every few meters. Nowhere in Europe is no such. Advertising distracts drivers. As a result, people die on the roads. And often are placed billboards without permits or violations: they close the road signs, limited visibility, etc. Sometimes do not understand who and what were the grounds of their sets, "- wrote in his blog, head of the State Committee for Entrepreneurship Michael Brodsky. Brodsky wrote that if the demands are not met, then the owners for their money will have to dismantle the improperly installed billboards. Now it is done for budget money, so no one is rushing to clean up. The need for the bill "On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding the placement of advertisements within the right of way of public roads" due to the large number of advertisements on public roads located in the ROW road public roads, which, in turn, negatively affects the perception of drivers of road conditions and distracts from the vehicle, creates the preconditions for the emergence of road adventures. It is proposed to supplement the law "On Advertising" rule, under which organs of state administration shall issue within 15 working days from the date of receipt of the necessary documents permit advertisements outside the boundaries of human settlements and agree on a grant basis issuing executive bodies of village, town councils permission for placement of outdoor advertising in the settlements within the right of way of public roads. The bill also provides grounds for refusal to grant permits for advertisements, as well as cases where permission for advertisements will be void. In addition, the bill provides for the introduction of a new article in the Law of Ukraine "On the roads," namely: "Article 391. Monitoring compliance with established requirements and responsibilities ".
