The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered a draft law amending the Law of Ukraine "On Road Traffic concerning conversion of vehicles. Bill № 8359 from 07.04.2011 referred to the Committee of Ministers of Ukraine. The development objective of the project is to reduce the administrative influence of the state on business entities engaged in economic activity for the production of vehicles. In particular, the Government proposes to revoke the certificate of harmonizing construction of motor vehicles to ensure road safety in the exercise of economic activity for the production of motor vehicles. This will avoid duplication of instruments of state control of the conformity of construction vehicles with road safety during their manufacture. It is also proposed to establish that in the case of conversion of five or more vehicles business entities must be coordinated with the state authorities of normative and technical documentation to the appropriate type of conversion and testimony on the harmonization of vehicle design on road safety.
