The State Committee for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship, has agreed a draft law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Law on Road Traffic." Informs the press service of the committee. The project document is to delete from Article 30 of the Law of Ukraine "On Road Traffic" requirement for obtaining a certificate of harmonization of construction of motor vehicles to ensure road safety in the exercise of economic activity for the production of motor vehicles. This, in turn, will address the issue of deregulation of this business, because the legislation already provided for the licensing activities for the production of cars and buses, as well as the compulsory certification of vehicles in front of their mass production. That is, the need for further evidence and the harmonization of construction of motor vehicles to ensure road safety in the exercise of economic activity for the production of motor vehicles leads to duplication of instruments of state regulation and the extra expenses of business entities. However, in the exercise of economic activity on the serial conversion of vehicles (conversion of five or more vehicles), the above-mentioned instruments of state regulation does not apply, so that the said certificate plays an important role in monitoring the safety design of vehicles for their conversion entities. To this end, the bill amends the Act under which business entities engaged in activities for the conversion of vehicles (in the case of the consistency of improvement of five or more vehicles), must be agreed by the authorized bodies of normative and technical documentation to the appropriate type of conversion and testimony Harmonization of the vehicle to ensure road safety.
