China increased steel production by 26%

Volumes of production of stainless steel in China in the I quarter of 2011 compared with the same period of 2010 increased by 26% and amounted to 3.07 million tons. It is estimated that tapping the 300 series rose by 49%, to 1.85 million tons, a series of 400 - by 13% to 695.1 thousand tons and 200 series - a 34% to 528.6 thousand tons.
