MPs backed the abolition of licenses for mobile communications

Parliament voted in favor of easier access to the telecommunications market in particular, in the first reading was supported by the bill number 7031, repealing the licensing of a number of activities in the field of telecommunications. As reported by Information Office of the Verkhovna Rada, is proposed to cancel the license for mobile communications, local fixed telephony, fixed telephony with wireless access. Also, in case the law without a license will be carried out maintenance and operation of telecommunications networks, network broadcast television and radio, wired radio and television networks, providing for the use of local telecommunications traffic. Licensing is planned to replace registration system. It is expected that by doing so the population of Ukraine will expand access to universal telecommunications services.
