Azarov is sure that quotas for grain export will be no more

Prime Minister Mykola Azarov is sure that the use restrictions on grain exports will no longer have The head of the Ukrainian government, said during a meeting with Deputy U.S. Treasury Secretary Christopher Smart, the press service of the Cabinet. Azarov said that to protect the domestic food market, the government was forced to resort due to the abnormal drought in Ukraine and the lack of grain in the world. This allowed us to keep the domestic price of grain at times lower than in EU countries. The head of government said the measures the authorities to ensure a stable, efficient operation of the agrarian complex, in particular, the formation of state grain reserves. "We have good carry-over stocks, we have a large state reserves - 1.6 million tons, and has already begun under the forward purchase of a new crop," - said the prime minister. Azarov noted the successful holding in Ukraine as planned autumn and spring sowing, and the proper feeding of crops, hoping for a good harvest in 2011. The Cabinet of Ministers extended the quotas for grain export to July 1, 2011 and increased quota for corn for 2 million tons
