Parliament adopted the Law "On ratification of Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya on mutual protection of classified information." For a decision voted 315 out of 420 deputies registered in the session hall. In particular, the agreement establishes equivalents secrecy, which are used in Ukraine and the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, the procedure for amendment or cancellation of mutual exchange and handling of classified information, the decision of the issues and identify the competent authorities of the parties responsible for implementing the provisions of the agreement . The subjects of implementation of the agreement are public authorities, enterprises, institutions and organizations which, according to Ukrainian law, carry out activities related to state secrets, and received permission to transfer classified information to foreign partner. Responsible for organizing activities for the implementation of this agreement with the Ukrainian side is the Security Service of Ukraine. In addition, defined in the agreement procedure of information exchange provides the Security Service of Ukraine and the competent authority of Libya's ability to ensure the proper state control over observance of constituencies for the national legislation of the parties in the exchange of classified information.
