March 25-31, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych will pay state visits to South-East Asia: the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Republic of Singapore and Brunei Darussalam. Told the head of the Presidential Administration Sergey Lyovochkin. The aim of the South-East Asian tour, the President is to provide opportunities for the Ukrainian state in the region, introduction of specific initiatives for cooperation and implementation of mutually beneficial projects. In particular, during a state visit (March 25-27) in Vietnam Viktor Yanukovych during a meeting with the leadership of the country's plans to raise the issue of further development and intensification of political dialogue at the highest level, to develop new approaches and methods for large-scale cooperation to achieve concrete agreements on deepening cooperation, especially in trade and economic sphere. The visit program envisages President's speech at the Ukrainian-Vietnamese business forum in which participation will take the leading representatives of business circles of both countries. Also to be signed 8 important documents aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation. Being a state visit to Singapore (28-29 March), Viktor Yanukovych intends to focus on priority areas of cooperation and specific projects, primarily in trade, economic, military, technical and scientific fields that can be jointly implemented by the parties. "The Ukrainian side expects the agreement to attract Singaporean technology and investment, including in the context of the preparation and conduct in our country, the final part of the European football championship Euro-2012", - S. Lyovochkin. Speaking about the visit of Viktor Yanukovych in Brunei (March 30-31), S. Lyovochkin stressed that Ukraine is counting on attracting the business community of Brunei to implement joint projects to develop its infrastructure. During the visit is planned to expand the legal base of relations, in particular by signing the joint statement by leaders of both countries, as well as the conclusion of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the sphere of defense and the Agreement on visa-free trips.
