Volume shadow wage in Ukraine is 145 billion hryvnia. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Social Policy Tihipko According to the vice-premier, in 2010 the salary fund in the country amounted to 346 billion hryvnia. In 2011, calculations based on the salary fund can be expected to increase this figure to 398 billion hryvnia. This is reported by Ukrainian News. Tigipko predicts that legislation to legalize salaries could bring 50 billion USD to social funds, particularly in the pension fund. The Government has developed three bills that will legalize salaries. In the draft legislation was first introduced the concept of a guaranteed salary, the concept of minimum wages is given to international standards, change control standards of enterprises in the area of ??labor relations, and enhances the responsibility of employers, in particular, for the payment of wages below the minimum or after the deadline.
