Industrial production in March, slow down

In March 2011 industrial production grew by a modest 8.0% (March to March, 2010). This was reported by the State Statistics Committee data show a slowdown in industrial growth: in January it stood at 9.7% in February to February - 11,5%. In March (compared to March 2010), decreased production of foods and beverages (-2.8%) and coke and refined petroleum products (-12.4%). Among the groups, which collects data from Goskomstat, the most highly distinguished manufacturers of transport. For the year showed a growth of 38.5%.
