Billiard Club cut taxes

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered a draft law on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine (on the enabling environment for the development of cue sports). Bill № 8350 from 06.04.2011 referred to the leadership of deputies from the Party of Regions, Vladimir Ivanenko. The adoption of the document should address several issues related to the preparation of the national team on billiards and other teams to join them in international sports competitions and other events. MP proposes to amend subparagraph 267.3.6 of the Tax Code of Ukraine. Under the changes, the rate of collection for the activities in the field of entertainment in the quarter will be for the use of tables for billiards, which are put into effect by means of tokens, coins or without 0.1 of the minimum wage for each billiard table. As stated in the explanatory note, the fee in a single minimum wage for each billiard table is big enough for entrepreneurs engaged in this kind of economic activity that might result in the closure of billiard clubs and actually stop the development of cue sports in the Ukraine.
