The Cabinet is considering closing some gas stations in the event of unjustified increase of gasoline prices. This was stated by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, commenting on the government's intention to develop mechanisms to avoid speculation on the oil market. He clarified that the government "while verbally warned" some oil traders who violate the antitrust laws in this area. "We must make the appropriate margin (petroleum), and then we do a different policy will be carried out with respect to those who now plays with the government, and most importantly - with people," - said the prime minister. "In the U.S., incidentally, has a law on which the antitrust authorities in case of exceeding the established price shall have the right to close the gas station", - emphasized Mykola Azarov, and added: "Here we think, should we make of this American market mechanism.
