Australia in 2011 compared with 2010 exports of iron ore will increase by 5,5%, to 425 million tons. This opinion was expressed by the Australian Bureau agrokulturnoy and raw material economy, reports Bloomberg. In 2012, the foreign supply of ore from Australia reached 462 million tons. By 2016, exports of Australian iron ore will be 599 million tons. We recall that an Australian port Hedlund in January 2011 compared to December reduced the shipment of iron ore at 11.5%, to 15.33 million tons. Annualised return shipment of ore, however, rose by 1.78%. Exports to China totaled in January, 9.97 million tons, up 9.74% compared with January last year. Also, this result was at 21.87% compared to the previous month. Shipments of iron ore from Australian ports to Japan reached 2.82 million tons, up 69% compared with January 2010, and also by 62% compared with December. Supply of raw materials in South Korea reached 1.62 million tons. Compared with January last year the figure rose by 21.63% as compared to the previous month - fell to 7.05%. Ministry of Industry
