Corrupt Practices Act will take a week

Parliament will consider the second reading of the anti-corruption law at the next plenary week. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn at a briefing. The Speaker recalled that on February 2 will meet the profile committee to consider this bill. "If you have time, consider it this week, but most likely it will be on Tuesday next plenary session of the week" - he said and added that the draft of the document has already received more than a thousand amendments. Lytvyn also confident that the law is adopted. "Even if someone does not want, we simply have no choice but to accept it," - said the head of the parliament. Earlier, Volodymyr Lytvyn said that the new law on combating corruption at the next parliamentary session is a priority task.
