Morgan Stanley has improved prognosis in nickel prices

International Commercial Bank of Morgan Stanley increased its price forecast for nickel in 2011 to 10.5%, to 12.15 dollars per pound (26.79 thousand U.S. $ / ton). This was stated in the bank. Earlier, Deutsche Bank analysts expressed the view that nickel prices on the London Metal Exchange in 2011 will increase to 27.25 thousand dollars per ton. Next year, they estimated that the metal will rise in price to 30 thousand dollars / ton, and in 2013 - on the contrary, fall in price to 28 thousand dollars per ton. In turn, the production of nickel in the world market this year will grow by 11,6% to 1.685 million tons. In 2012, the release of the metal will rise by 9.2% to 1.839 million tons and in 2013 - by 3,7% to 1.907 million tons.
