Steelmaker JSW Steel will bring the production of a metallurgical plant in Maharashtra at full capacity, which amounts to 3.3 million tons. This was stated in the Group. This plant was started almost immediately after JSW bought 41% stake in the corporation Ispat Industries. "We are already working at capacity 5600 tons per day and increase capacity up to 8500-9000 tonnes per day in the near future," - noted in JSW Steel. JSW Steel in November 2010 compared to November 2009 has increased steel production by 6% to 508 thousand tons. In turn, the issue of flat-rolled products in a given period has increased by 28% and reached 381 thousand tons. Production of long products has risen by 28%, amounting to 88 thousand tons. JSW Steel is one of the industry leaders in India. Its production capacity for steel mill in Vijayanagar is approximately 3.8 million tons per year.
