Russia's Supreme Court made a final decision on the liquidation of the Federal National Cultural Autonomy of Ukrainians in Russia. This was stated by FNCA Co SD Valery Semenenko, UNIAN reports. "Russia's Supreme Court rejected our appeal and the decision to liquidate the autonomy came into force. Our proofs were not accepted", - said Vladimir Semenenko, and added that after the NCFA SD will be removed from the register of public organizations of the Ministry of Justice of Russia. However, Vladimir Semenenko, said that after such a court at all the impression that it is co-ordinated campaign against the leadership of autonomy. He also said that currently addresses the issue of filing a complaint at the above-mentioned decision of the Russian court in the European courts. He noted that on 5 February will bring together heads of local Ukrainian organizations that plan to adopt a decision on the appeal to the European Court of Justice. "Right now we do not exclude such a possibility. The decision will be taken by majority leaders," - said the co-CANF SD. Also Semenenko V. noted that on January 31 the Russian Supreme Court will consider on the disposition of the Association of Ukrainians in Russia. According to him, ESD plans to file a counterclaim in a local court against a warning from the Russian Ministry of Justice, which was done because of his (Semenenko) participation in one of the telecasts. Earlier the director of information policy department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Voloshin said that if information about the intentions of the Russian side to close the Association of Ukrainians in Russia is confirmed, it will cause substantial damage to bilateral relations between states. Also, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has promised to defend the right of existence of the organization. As reported, November 24, 2010 decision of the Supreme Court of Russia was satisfied with the claim of the Ministry of Justice, which sought the dissolution of the Federal National Cultural Autonomy of Ukrainians in Russia in connection with the identification of violations of economic activity.
