Yanukovych signed a decree on liberalizing the visa regime with the EU

President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych signed a decree, which approved the National Plan of Action to implement the action plan for liberalizing the EU visa regime for Ukraine. As the press service of the president, the national plan designed, in particular, to reform Ukraine's migration system, a system of protection of personal data, enter the integrated border management in accordance with European standards. It contains a clear list of specific activities, to the date of their performance and accountability of central executive bodies for the quality of implementation. Head of State has identified the introduction to the Ukrainian citizens visa-free travel to the countries - members of the EU as one of the strategic priorities for EU - Ukraine. "The introduction of a national plan indicates a serious mood of Ukraine to implement in a short time an action plan to liberalize the visa regime, which the European Union granted Ukraine on the results of the fourteenth Ukraine Summit EU - November 22, 2010" - the press-service. Ukrainian side expects the political will of EU member states to adopt the necessary decisions for implementation of visa-free regime.
