The world stands on the verge of economic crisis - World Bank

World Bank President Robert Zoellick said that the world is facing a severe economic crisis with such a statement he delivered during the spring meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund in Washington, Radio Liberty. The main threat to the poorest countries Zoellick said rising world food prices. Other participants in the meeting among the disturbing factors called volatile oil prices and rising unemployment among young people. According to the report by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in December 2010, food prices broke a new record, and in January-February, they have continued to rise.
