MPs may increase the fine for violation of fishery regulations

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered a draft law on amending some legislative acts of Ukraine (concerning the strengthening of penalties for violations of fisheries regulations). Bill № 8447 from 27.04.2011 referred to the Committee of People's Deputies from the Party of Regions. The document provided to amend the Code of Administrative Offences, in part to increase the fines for violations of fishing regulations and the violation of the requirements for the protection of the environment (pollution, dredging, bank protection, irrigation and drainage works) and migration routes, migration, acclimatization and breeding of fish and other aquatic resources. Also, the bill stipulated to amend the Law of Ukraine "About fauna" in the provision of officers specially authorized central executive authorities and their territorial bodies exercising state control and management in the protection, use and reproduction of the animal world, the right to suspend the licenses implementation of economic activities in the protection, use and reproduction of animals to eliminate violations or decide to cancel the license in case of non-economic entities of the binding instructions (orders) to eliminate violations of the protection, use and re-create the animal world.
