Gazprom is satisfied with gas contracts with Ukraine

Gazprom insists on the effectiveness of existing conditions of supply of gas to Ukraine. "We have to create an effective long-term contract basis for gas supplies to Ukraine. Contract market and meets all current international requirements of the gas business ", - told reporters the official representative of Gazprom spokesman Sergei Kupriyanov after talks Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller and Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko, Interfax reports. Earlier Thursday, Boyko and Miller held talks in Moscow, where he discussed issues of strategic cooperation and mutually beneficial bilateral relations in gas sphere. Gazprom press release said that "the sides discussed issues of further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the development of the recent agreement the presidents of Russia and Ukraine, Dmitri Medvedev, Viktor Yanukovych. Earlier, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said Moscow was prepared to discuss possible revision of the pricing formula of gas to Ukraine, but this claim has not received any confirmation from the Russian side.
