Cabinet to abolish quotas on the export of maize

The Cabinet of Ministers at today's meeting to abolish quotas on the export of maize has been stated the first deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine Iryna Akimova, RBK-Ukraine. "Now the Cabinet were eliminated quotas on corn. I think this is a step in the right direction that will allow us, on the one hand to give greater freedom, including freedom in terms of business of Agricultural producers and traders to a new marketing approach, and on the other hand strengthen the image of Ukraine as a country of civilized, which is capable of moving to more open and transparent mechanisms to protect its market, in cases where this is necessary ", - said Akimov. At the same time as the Minister of AP Nicholas Prisyajnyuk, the abolition of quotas on exports of other crops will be discussed later. "And on the other (culture) will look after we analyze the winter crops, as they have been preserved, as will be sown early furious, and then make a decision. I think we're somewhere in the top 15 - May 20, we will have a balance, and we will make a decision ", - said Prisyajnyuk. Prisyajnyuk noted that the decision shall enter into force upon signature by the Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.
