Bank may invest in Ukraine 500 million euros annually

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) considers it possible to annually invest in the Ukrainian oil and gas industry around EUR500 million, said managing director of the Energy Bank Riccardo Puliti. "I did a little calculation and assuming that we could finance projects in the oil and gas industry in the amount of EUR500 million," - he said, speaking at the Second Annual Adam Smith Conference "Ukrainian Energy Forum." According to him, one third of this sum should go to the entry of the bank's equity, the rest - on the long-term loans for companies.
