Attachments NBU in securities of non-residents in the first quarter increased by 5,5%

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in January-March 2011 increased its investments in securities of the Government at 0.9% - to 55.419 billion USD, according to the NBU in the official press. According to the report, the attachments of the NBU in securities of non-residents in the first quarter increased by 5,5% - to UAH 159.991 billion. As previously reported, the NBU in 2010 increased its investments in securities of the Government of the country on 19,6% - to 54.875 billion USD. In the fourth quarter, National Bank investments in government securities declined by 9.2%, to 60.43 billion USD. Attachments NBU in securities of non-residents over the past year increased by 36,2% - to UAH 151.609 billion, including for the fourth quarter - by 2.9%, from 147.409 billion USD.
