UEFA will not take away the lions right to host the matches of the finals of the European Football Championship in 2012 because of the events of May 9. This was stated by Chairman of Local Organizing Committee of the Euro-2012 Ukraine Markiyan Lubkivsky, UNIAN reports. "I would not want the Communist Party of Ukraine played out some kind of card and continue to campaign on what the city worthy of hosting Euro 2012, which are unworthy. The Communist Party of Ukraine is not an institution that can determine the format of the tournament. The only structure that defines the format - is final. Today, the question of changing the format is not on the agenda of the League, "- he said. At the same time M. Lubkivsky said that UEFA is attentive to the problems of security in the Euro 2012 and the events of May 9 in Lviv were reviewed and analyzed by the European Union of Football Associations in order to prevent similar collisions during the tournament. IOC Chairman of the Euro-2012 Ukraine denies even the theoretical possibility of postponing the tournament matches from Lviv to other Ukrainian cities. "Today, there was talk about who could replace the Lions. I would say absolutely officially that today there is no other city in Ukraine, which would be ready for the tournament so far willing to Kiev, Kharkiv, Lviv and Donetsk. No Dnepropetrovsk nor Odessa today are not ready, and will not be able to prepare for the year prior to the tournament "- summed M. Lubkivskyi. The leader of the Communist Party of Ukraine Petro Symonenko offered to take the lions championship Euro-2012 and to cut government funding of the Lviv regional council in connection with the events that took place in Lviv on Victory Day, May 9. In turn, the Party of Regions considers it inappropriate to carry out in another city of Lviv Euro 2012. Ministry of Industry
