3 March, President Viktor Yanukovych signed a decree repealing the mandatory application of the holographic document security and product groups. The text refers to the cease of the presidential decree of November 15, 2000 № 1239 "On protection of documents and goods holographic protective elements," wrote DT.UA. Recall the Cabinet at a meeting on Feb. 9 decided to restore state control over the production of protective signs and documents of strict accountability. Cabinet recommended that the head of state declared null and void certain ordinances for the protection of documents and goods holographic protective elements. Earlier, in November last year, reported willingness to draft presidential decree on the abolition of the mandatory application of holographic security documents and product groups. In the explanatory memorandum to the draft decree stated that the adoption of the decree due to the need to reduce the financial burden on economic entities. In Ukraine there are 88 kinds of holograms for a variety of documents of strict accountability, which are annually purchased in the interest of the state in millions of copies. The former head of the State Committee for Michael Brodsky previously estimated magnitude "download" concern EDAPS funds from Ukrainian hryvnia 8 billion a year.
