Talvivaara Mining has reduced the losses

The Finnish company "Talvivaara Mining Co Plc" in 2010 reduced pretax losses of up to 9.9 million euros against 75.1 million euros a year earlier. This was stated in the Group. "Talvivaara Mining Co Plc" owns the rights to mining nickel at two large oilfields in the north-eastern Finland - Kuusilampi and Kolmisoppi. Their reserves of 266 million tons of ore, which will allow companies annually produce about 33 thousand tonnes of nickel for 24 years while simultaneously producing an annual 60 thousand tons of zinc, 10 tons of copper and 1.2 tonnes of cobalt.
