The Ministry of Justice believes the opposition will lose in court

Recognition by the Constitutional Court of Ukraine illegal constitutional changes in the timing of the next elections to the Verkhovna Rada and the President is unlikely. This was announced today by Minister of Justice Oleksandr Lavrynovych at a press conference. "The probability of this is much lower than anyone could imagine" - the minister said. According to him, even if it is proved the existence of certain violations of voting procedures for these changes, it does not solve anything in itself. Lavrinovich stressed that if these changes are unconstitutional because of voting irregularities, it will be possible to challenge the constitutionality of any other statute. "The problem of the personal vote for the adopted laws exist throughout the period of Ukrainian independence. Today in Parliament there is no political force, which at that time did not intend to issue a violation of voting procedure and that at the same time, she would prevent such violations, - said Lavrinovich. However, he noted that the issue of personal voting laws MPs can be easily solved from a technical point of view, making it impossible to vote for your colleagues. "But the issue is not solved, because it is unprofitable for any of the political forces," - stated the head of the Justice Ministry. Previously, the first deputy chairman of the parliamentary faction BYUTB Andrei Kozhemyakin said that BYUTB collecting signatures for the treatment of CRS in connection with the postponement of parliamentary elections in autumn 2012. We recall that on 1 February the Verkhovna Rada amended the constitution, securing a separate rule to conduct a regular parliamentary elections last Sunday in October 2012 and the President - the last Sunday in March 2015.
