CSN increases stake in Riversdale

Brazilian Metallurgical Corporation "Companhia Siderurgica Nacional" has increased its stake in Australian mining holding company Riversdale Mining up to 19,9%. It is reported by Reuters. CSN is now the second largest shareholder Riversdale after the Indian steel group Tata Steel. As you know, a Brazilian company recently increased its stake in Australian corporations with 16.29% to 17.58%. "The company evaluates strategic alternatives for investment in Usiminas, including the possible acquisition of additional participation," - said in a holding company.
