Authorities do not have a responsible opposition

Ukrainian authorities are interested in the fact that the country was formed by a constructive and responsible opposition, able to represent the country in the international arena, together with the government and make government positions and to defend national interests, rather than engage in unfounded criticism, which discredits the country in the eyes the world community. This was stated by Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Konstantin Grishchenko on air Schuster-live. According to the diplomat, Ukrainian politicians should work together to represent the country in the international arena, to work on creating a positive image of their state in the eyes of the international community and take care of the realization of national interests of Ukraine. The Minister is convinced that the only way Ukraine can be integrated into the European community and held as a successful participant in international relations. "Authorities in Ukraine is interested in the opposition, which is responsible, which is aimed at achieving those goals that are facing our state. If we agree that our future in Europe, we need to work in this direction together. But to speak in Brussels, as well as in the capitals of Europe to speak with one voice about what our country stands for European dimension of our future. And I think that when we speak with one voice, we will not waste time on internal conflicts, we will not find out the eyes of the world community its relations. We will move towards the implementation of reforms and integration into European political and economic community "- summed up Hryshchenko. Earlier, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Volodymyr Lytvyn said that opposition politicians have to offer more alternatives to government initiatives. He recalled that the opposition political forces have criticized the Government's proposed draft budget for 2011 and promised to submit to parliament an alternative draft, but has not done so.
