Ukraine, and Vietnam have agreed to direct air service between Kiev and the Vietnamese city of Ho Chi Minh City. Agreement reached on the visit to Vietnam by President Viktor Yanukovych The agreement was signed today on the results of bilateral summit talks in Hanoi. "The two leaders welcomed the opening of direct air service, scheduled for summer 2011 that will create conditions for further contacts between the two countries" - leads the text of a statement to Interfax-Ukraine. During the talks, the Presidents acknowledged the promising sectors of cooperation machinery and machine tools, agriculture, energy, oil and gas industry. Vietnam also wants to develop cooperation with Ukraine in the sphere of defense and security, in training.
