Average growth of export prices on Ukrainian steel products in 2011 will amount to 12% on the previous year. This forecast was voiced by an analyst at investment firm BG Capital Eugene Dubogryz. In particular, according to forecasts, the price of square billet was 574 dollars per ton slab - 570 USD / ton roll - 665 USD / ton and a thick sheet - 719 USD / ton. According to experts, this year will continue the growth of demand for Ukrainian steel. In addition, the possible removal of restrictions (duties of 15.63%) on the supply of Ukrainian metal products to Canada will increase exports by another 150-250 thousand tons.
