In Ukraine, will be less than the unemployed

Director of Public Employment Service, Vladimir Galitsky predicts that the unemployment rate in the current year slightly lower. "This year will be challenging. I think the unemployment rate declined marginally, with the increased number of employees of Ukrainians, as well as wages rise slightly, "- says Vladimir Galitsky. According to him, now the country's real number of unemployed is 1.4 million people, and the level of employment is - 45 -47%, that in his opinion, is a good indicator as compared to 2010, when it was 37%. In early March, Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Tigipko instructed the State Employment Service to turn out new approaches in the field of employment, in particular to develop the ability to move labor force in those regions where there is a need, and make contact with employers to obtain information about public specialists they need. Let us recall that in January, the official unemployment rate in Ukraine has increased by 0,1% compared to the previous month, to 2,1%. In particular, in January, the State Employment Service had registered 585.6 thousand unemployed, of which 447.9 thousand receive unemployment benefits.
