Azarov is sure that Putin is no pressure on Ukraine

Russian Federation has never exerted pressure on Ukraine for entry into the Customs Union within the Common Economic Space between Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. This was announced today by the Prime Minister Mykola Azarov at a meeting with German journalists. "All of our meeting with Mr Putin, to my great satisfaction, saying that the Russian side does not use any coercive methods", - said Mykola Azarov. According to him, the Russian side has all the negotiations with Ukraine on a partnership positions. "Something to Putin's position does not suit us, something our position does not suit them, but never in the history of our relationship, he did not use the methods of pressure", - emphasized Mykola Azarov. He clarified that these relationships often differ from relationships with several other partners, who sometimes try to exert pressure on the Ukrainian side. "Sometimes in the form of an invalid attempt to impose on us their views. I could give many examples, but respecting their partners, I hope that soon the disease is to give advice in the form of pressure to stop", - said Mykola Azarov. However, he stressed that it is impossible to oppose negotiations on a free trade zone with the EU and relations with the Customs Union. "Some people really want to contrast these two process? This will not work" - zayaval Mykola Azarov. He also called for the speedy determination of the format of relations between Ukraine and the Customs Union. "From the West we have a free trade zone, and from the east we have a Customs Union. Ukraine - a transit state, which has its own interests in trade with the EU and the Customs Union. Thus, the search for the formula of our relationship with the customs union to us is very important. We want to find formulas that will suit us particularly, and which will suit our partners, "- said the prime minister. Recall that on March 16 at a press conference in Moscow Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said that in the case of a FTA with the European Union Russia Ukraine may toughen the customs regime between the two countries. According to him, Russia will be forced to shut down access to Ukrainian goods to the Russian market. Ministry of Industry
