Putin has proposed to merge the Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo airports

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin proposed to merge the Moscow airports Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo. About this Putin said on March 28 at the meeting in Sheremetyevo. Previously it was assumed that Putin may decide to combine all three major Moscow airports: Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo and Domodedovo, RIA Novosti reported. Vedomosti newspaper in its issue dated March 28 wrote that if the government decides to merge the three airports, the control of a single company can receive private shareholders.
