Gasoline could get cheaper by 50 cents - the Ministry of Finance

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine proposes to reduce the rate of excise duty on petrol by 50 euros per tonne - up to 132 euro per ton for diesel fuel - at 30 euros per tonne, said Deputy Finance Minister Anatoly Myarkovsky with reference to the Cabinet of Ministers approved the bill, according to RBC -Ukraine. "Reduced rates of excise duty on petrol by 50 euros - from 182 euros to 132 euros, and for diesel fuel - at 30 euros per tonne ... 50 euros per tonne (gasoline) will have its effect. According to our calculations, it is 50 kopeks. (Cheaper) per liter, "- said Myarkovsky. Earlier, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said that today the Cabinet will consider the reduction of excise duty on fuel. New Tax Code repealed the annual transport fee, the proceeds of which were sent to repair roads. At the same time, the Code provides for an increase from 1 January 2011 of excise duty on petrol and diesel. In the March 2011 Cabinet had established the boundary price of gasoline A-95 at 9.5 USD per liter for diesel fuel - UAH 9 per liter. Nevertheless, at the gas station to the wishes of the government are reluctant to listen.
