During the visit Volodymyr Lytvyn will hold meetings with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and President of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey Mehmet Ali Sahin. In addition, the speaker will meet with Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the governor of Istanbul Hussein Avni Mutlu and Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Black Sea Economic Cooperation Alexey Kudryavtsev. By the way, on Monday 17 January, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych will fly on an official visit to Japan. This will be the first foreign head of state visit this year. It is assumed that within its framework Yanukovych will meet in Tokyo, Emperor Akihito, will talk with Prime Minister Kahn, will speak at a joint business forum and tell the teachers and students at Kyoto University on the situation in Ukraine.
